Erastus W. Rice amoung the best known amoung the older folk of this city, died at his home at midnight Tuesday of neuralgia of the heart. While he had been failing in health for some time, yet his death came as a shock to his family and friends. He was down town at five o'clock Tuesday evening. He leaves a widow and ten children, eight of his children being by a former marriage. The funeral will be held in the Baptist church at Belleview Kentucky ar ten thirty Friday. Mr Rice was seventy nine years old.
